NRA Pistol Safety Course - This NRA certified personal protection course is conducted in April and October and is Massachusetts State Police approved. This course educationally qualifies an applicant to apply through their local authority for an LTC ("license to carry") firearms. This is a 12 hour 2 day course which requires 8 hours of classroom and 4 hours on the pistol range. A Massachusetts Dept. of State Police Certificate and an NRA certificate will be awarded for satisfactory completion of this course. High Power Shooting Clinics - High power clinics are held annually, teaching the basics in high power rifle shooting. Details of proper shooting attire, shooting positions, trajectory ballistics, and all aspects of high power firearms are discussed. The seminar is approximately a half-day long with activity also scheduled at the range. Youth activity is highly encouraged.

An archery seminar, given by Massachusetts I.B.E.P. / M.D.F.W. trained instructors will take the archer through a professional archery course designed by the
Massachusetts F&W. This is a one day course dealing in bow and arrow safety, wildlife hunting, and what to do after a kill.
